Unit Converter

Length, weight, temperature…

Unit Converter takes a value with a unit — 100 cm, 5 kg, 72 f — and shows it in every other unit of the same kind at once. It covers length (mm, cm, m, km, in, ft, yd, mi), weight (mg, g, kg, t, oz, lb) and temperature (Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin).

It is deliberately small: there is no volume, area, speed or currency conversion. It runs in your browser with no account; lengths and weights are rounded to four decimal places and shown in your browser's number format, temperatures to two.

How to use

  1. Type a number followed by a unit abbreviation, for example 100 cm, 5 kg or 72 f.
  2. Run it.
  3. Read the value converted into every unit of the same group.

FAQ

Which units can I type?
Length: mm, cm, m, km, in, ft, yd, mi. Weight: mg, g, kg, t (metric tonne), oz, lb. Temperature: c, f or k (°C and °F work too). Units must be written as these abbreviations; words like 'meters' or 'pounds' are not recognised.
How do I write decimals?
Use a point, as in 1.5 kg. A decimal comma (1,5 kg) is not understood, and neither are Persian digits — type the number with 0–9.
Is the conversion exact?
The factors follow the international definitions — an inch is exactly 2.54 cm, a mile 1,609.344 m — and results are rounded to four decimal places (temperatures to two). That is plenty for recipes, travel and DIY, but it is not a calibrated engineering tool.
Do I need an account or an upload?
No. Once the page has loaded, the calculation happens in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.
