QR Generator

Create QR codes for anything.

QR Generator turns a link, a text, a Wi-Fi password or contact details into a QR code you can print on a poster, a menu, an invoice or a business card. The code comes out as a 512-pixel PNG, large enough to print sharply.

It is generated in your browser, which means two practical things: it works offline once the page is open, and the content you encode is not logged anywhere.

How to use

  1. Type or paste what the code should contain — a URL, plain text, or anything else.
  2. Generate the code.
  3. Download the PNG and place it wherever you need it.

FAQ

Does the code expire?
No. The QR code contains your content directly, so it works forever and does not depend on this site staying online. Shortened-link QR codes from other services stop working when that service does.
Can I track scans?
Not with a plain code, by design — there is no redirect in between. If you need statistics, encode a link you already track.
What size should I print it at?
The 512-pixel PNG prints cleanly at business-card size and up. For a poster, keep at least two centimetres of clear space around the code.
Is the content I encode stored?
No. The code is generated in your browser and nothing is sent to a server.
