Table to Excel

AI reads a table image to a sheet.

Table to Excel reads a table from a photo, a screenshot or a PDF and gives it back as rows and columns you can open in a spreadsheet — a price list photographed in a shop, a timetable screenshot, a table in a scanned report.

Be clear about the output: you get CSV, the plain comma-separated format that Excel, LibreOffice Calc and Google Sheets open directly, not a formatted .xlsx workbook. The table is read by an AI vision model in the cloud (Google Gemini by default, OpenAI as fallback). It is a professional tool: included in Abzar Plus, with one free try a day on a free account, and each run uses 1 credit.

How to use

  1. Upload a sharp, straight photo or screenshot of the table, or a PDF that contains it.
  2. Run it — the file is sent to the AI model and 1 credit is used (returned if the run fails).
  3. Check the rows in the preview, especially numbers, decimal points and merged cells.
  4. Download the .csv and open it in Excel, LibreOffice or Google Sheets.

FAQ

Why do I get a CSV file and not .xlsx?
The model returns the table as CSV and Abzar hands you that file as it is. Every spreadsheet program opens it; if Excel puts everything into one column (common when your system expects semicolons), import it with Data → From Text/CSV and choose comma as the delimiter.
How accurate is it?
Clean printed tables with clear lines usually come out right. Handwriting, blurry photos, merged cells and very long tables are where mistakes appear — a digit misread, a row shifted. Compare totals and a few rows with the original.
Can it read Persian or German tables?
Yes, the model reads Persian, German and English text in tables. After opening the file, check that number columns are really treated as numbers: Persian digits or thousands separators can turn them into text.
What happens to my file, and is there a limit?
The file is sent over an encrypted connection to the AI provider to read the table; Abzar does not keep it. One answer is capped at roughly 3,000 words of CSV, so a very long multi-page table can be cut off at the end — split it and run it page by page.
