Case Converter changes the capitalisation of a whole text in one step: UPPERCASE, lowercase, Title Case (every word starts with a capital) or Sentence case (only the first letter of each sentence). The usual reasons are text typed with Caps Lock on, or a heading that has to follow a style rule.

UPPERCASE, lowercase and Sentence case work for any script with capital letters; Persian and Arabic have no capitals, so that text passes through unchanged. Sentence case lowercases everything first, so names and abbreviations need re-capitalising afterwards.

FAQ
Does Title Case follow AP or Chicago style?
No. It capitalises the first letter of every word, including short words like 'and', 'of' and 'the' that style guides keep lowercase. Fix those few words by hand if you follow a style guide.
Does it handle umlauts, accents and apostrophes?
UPPERCASE, lowercase and Sentence case do — 'straße' in capitals correctly becomes 'STRASSE'. Title Case currently does not: it treats letters like ä, é or ß and apostrophes as word breaks, so 'über' comes out as 'üBer' and 'don't' as 'Don'T'. Use Sentence case or correct those words yourself.
Why are my names and acronyms lowercase now?
Sentence case first turns everything to lowercase and then capitalises the start of each sentence, because it cannot know which words are names. Re-capitalise proper nouns and acronyms after converting.
Is the text sent anywhere?
No. The conversion runs in your browser with plain JavaScript; nothing is uploaded and no account is needed.
