Protect PDF encrypts a PDF with a password so the file cannot be opened normally without that password. Abzar uses the browser build of qpdf and requests 256-bit PDF encryption.
The encryption happens on your device. Keep the password somewhere safe: Abzar does not upload it, store a recovery copy, or have a way to recover a forgotten password.
