PDF to Excel reads the tables in a document and writes them into a spreadsheet you can sort, filter and calculate with. Unlike the local tools here, this one sends the page content to an AI provider, because finding where a table starts and ends in a PDF is a judgement call, not a parsing rule.
It is built for data, not for design: expect the rows and columns, not the original formatting, borders or merged header art.
How to use
Upload a PDF that contains tabular data — invoices, reports, statements, price lists.
Check the credit cost shown before you start; the task runs in the cloud.
Download the .xlsx and check a few rows against the source before you rely on it.
FAQ
Why does this one cost credits when other tools are free?
It runs on a paid AI provider rather than inside your browser. Local tools cost nothing because your own device does the work; cloud tools have a real per-task cost.
How accurate is it?
Clean, ruled tables come out close to exact. Multi-line cells, tables split across pages and heavily styled layouts are where errors appear, so spot-check the result.
Is the layout of the PDF kept?
No. You get the data in rows and columns. Fonts, colours and borders from the PDF are not reproduced.
What happens to my file?
The content needed for the task is sent over an encrypted connection to the configured provider, processed, and not kept for training. If a document is too sensitive for that, use a local tool instead.
